Kendrick Lamar Bans Professional Photographers From Concerts

Kendrick Lamar is slightly changing the way that you view some of his performances from now on. The rapper is officially banning outside professional photographers from shooting his concerts.

Over the weekend, reports started circulating that K. Dot was banning audience members' cell phones when they came to see his shows. However, that's not accurate. A rep for the DAMN. rapper confirmed to Pitchfork that fans can still bring their phones to watch K. Dot's shows because they will not be confiscated.

The rep also added that fans are free to record Lamar, too. The only difference between the rapper's past shows and future shows is that K. Dot will not have professionals from photography companies like Getty, etc. taking pics of him. Instead, Lamar will have only his personal photographers snap pics and his team will distribute these photos to media outlets, when needed.

Lamar is now on an European tour with James Blake. After that's wrapped up, he'll begin TDE's Championship tour with SZA, ScHoolBoy Q and more.
